I already had my b-day party, last sunday, with my buddy Mario, who turned 22 yesterday, n it was awsome. Buddies, beer, barbacue and beautiful sunny weather in Biscoitos... I only wish I was turning 22 as well

Sanjoaninas are HERE!!! Although it doesn't meen anything to most of th ppl who are gonna read this, it means a lot to the ppl here on this small island called Terceira, lost in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. And even more to someone with a dull job, like myself. I guess that's one of the reasons I haven't been drawing or painting; coming from work just to sit in front of the pc is not very appealing, these days. Even if it's to do what I luv the most: drawing/coloring/painting.

So, Sanjoaninas are Festivities hold to honor Saint John. Why?!? Because we, ppl of Terceira, needed an excuse to turn the whole town into one big party for a week, to b with our friends, make new friends and to have as many beer as u feel like... (or as much as u can afford It's actally not funny, the festivities started 3 days ago and I've already spent over €100. Ouch!!!)

So ok, this isn't quite the official description of Sanjoaninas, but I've just been enjoying myself so much that I just felt like writting something to pass on good vibes, and not necessarily worry about serious or accurate. For serious, I already have serious shit going on in my life so I guess Sanjoaninas are being my therapy. Nothing like surrounding yourself with friends and having some (or a lot ) drinks to help u go through the hardships of life. Life's too short for one to let himself be knocked down. It's time to have FUN. And there's still 7 more days to party... n enjoy being single again

Just adding links to oC's Event files. They're a bit old but they're ok.

For those who are not familiar with it, Event Files (or .wpe) are like Painter's scripts. It records the your strokes, n stuff, n allows u to watch a playback of someone drawing/painting.

U'll need openCanvas 1.1 for the .wpe's. oC 1.1 is freeware, it's not even 1MB in filesize n requires no instalation. U'll find tutorials here on DA, under Resources> Tutorials> Digital Art> Drawing/Painting/Airbrushing> openCanvas.

So yeah, I've been a "bit" absent from DA... First of all, my thanks to the ppl who came by n left a message, or added me or faved my stuff. And my apologies for not having replied, yet. But I will...

Also, I did a video cap of a sketch just to try out Camtasia. I'll do a cap of a more complete piece in the future but, for now, I hope u enjoy this one...it's really nothing special so don't get your hopes high, but the music is awsome so try to, at least, enjoy that
